About Us
Improving care of older adults with cancer
Founded in 2024, the Danish Society of Geriatric Oncology is dedicated to advancing the field of geriatric oncology by fostering collaboration among researchers and clinicians committed to improving the care of older adults with cancer. Evolving from a dynamic network of professionals with a shared passion for oncogeriatric research, our society now serves as a central hub for innovative studies, clinical advancements, and educational initiatives. We aim to enhance treatment outcomes, promote age-appropriate cancer care, and advocate for the unique needs of older cancer patients. Together, we are shaping the future of oncogeriatrics and improving the lives of older adults facing cancer.
